Eureka Kids Child Care's operating philosophy is based upon the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) program standards.
Eureka Kids will offer a comprehensive SMARTER educational child care program that supports the development of the whole child by meeting individual children where they are at developmentally through the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive domains.
Children learn by interacting and developing relationships with each other and with caring adults in a welcoming, nurturing, safe, stimulating and social-emotionally rich environment.
All enrolled children will have access to a safe, accessible, high quality early childhood education that appreciates each child as a unique individual.
All Staff will be caring adults that are knowledgeable and well-trained. All Teachers will be knowledgeable in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) Education Practices, Early Literacy, and Early Childhood Development which are an essential part of Eureka Kids' SMARTER teaching philosophy.
The curriculum will follow developmentally appropriate practices, be well planned, and offer hands-on learning experiences that encourage play and exploration.
Eureka Kids will support each child's learning by using a variety of developmentally appropriate assessment tools and methods that will be shared with families.
Eureka Kids will support and communicate with families through orientations, conversations and conferences.
The Eureka Kids environment will recognize and support diversity and community by celebrating cultural values, family backgrounds and individual heritage.
