Daily Schedule
All classrooms at Eureka Kids will have their Daily Schedule posted. The daily schedules are intended to promote children's learning and development by balancing child-led learning through play and engaging educational activities planned by teachers.

- Play allows for children to make appropriate choices and become actively involved in their learning process
- Play is an opportunity for children to practice independence, decision making and problem solving skills
Consistent Elements in our Daily Schedules
- Arrival routines allow for communication with family members, and helps to ease the transition from home to school.
- Wellness Checks are conducted throughout the day and include diapering, toileting, handwashing and water breaks
- Breakfast is a nutritious way to start our day and Family Style dining allows for social connections.
- Teacher planned and led learning activities happen in large and small group times daily to enhance the children's learning.
- Weekly enrichment classes such as dance, cooking, yoga will be added to children's daily schedule for an additional fees.
- Group Time helps children develop School Readiness skills such as listening, taking turns and practicing patience.
- Story Time occurs several times a day. Reading to children is an important part of pre-literacy skills, and helps to foster a love of reading.
- Active and Outdoor Play encourages physical activity and exercise.
- Clean-Up Time helps children develop sorting skills as well as encourages children to help with taking care of our classroom environment.
- Lunch is another opportunity for Family Style dining which promotes decision making and motor and self-help skills.
- Naps and Rest Time are important to children of all ages and allows children a break in their busy day.
- Afternoon Snack Time provides another shared meal with social interactions and opportunities to try new foods.
- Departure routines allow for parents and children to reconnect and prepare for the transition from school to home.
